candle 5I am so sorry for your loss. Rich and Lesley shared so many memories and good times with their vacations, bike rides, jeeping, darts and love for those doggies. I am sure all of the family doesn’t know how to go on without her, this is so shocking. She was so involved with family and friends, loved her dad so much, so proud of all of her nieces and nephews, she will surely be missed by all, including me. I worked with her at Junior League for many years and we were smoking buddies, ate lunch together, and shared a lot of memories together. I will miss her and won’t forget that laugh. I wish I could ease the pain.

candle 1I know there are no words that can make this any easier. Les was loved by many and will be missed terribly. She could make you laugh, make you cry and then make you laugh all over again (sasslefras!). She has been there pushing you forward and had your back. I pray for strength and comfort for all that need the encouragement and pray for remembering fond memories of this exceptional woman. May the Lord take her in His arms and hold her tight.

I am so sorry for the loss of Lesley. Such a heartbreak for all her friends and family. Even though I didn’t know Lesley as an adult, I still remember her as a tiny little thing. One of my favorite memories was one day when Lesley was very unhappy that Mommy had gone to work. I was walking her and patting her back while trying all these soothing comments, but she just quietly sobbed; nothing I said was making a difference. So I tried something else. in her ear I said, “I know how you feel. I really miss my mommy, too. I wish she was here with me right now, too.” Nothing changed other than her little hand started patting MY back, trying to make ME feel better, Only Lesley! The world is a poorer place without her.

I was very fortunate to work with Lesley at ADP for 13 years. For 6 years we sat side by side. I couldn’t have asked for a more fun “office buddy” or a better friend. Lesley brightened up every day for me. We laughed and sang show tunes. She loved her family, friends, dogs and life enthusiastically and unconditionally. She was unique and special. I miss her so much. My deepest condolences to Rich and her entire family.

candle 2The deep pain that is felt at the death of every friendly soul arises from the feeling that there is in every individual something which is inexpressible, peculiar to her alone, and is, therefore, absolutely and irretrievably lost. The bond between friends cannot be broken by chance; no interval of time or space can destroy it. Not even death itself can part true friends. You will be terribly missed my friend until we meet again on the other side!! Love you always!!!

candle 4I love people who make me laugh. She did. Sweet and kind with a great sense of humor and style.. She had a tight knit group of friends from the dart community that are all sad and in shock. She made my friend Rich smile. She was the kind of person that leaves a giant hole when she goes because of the way she treated others. It was hard not to have fun when she was around.

candle 8These are the hardest ones to try to understand, how do you not question God’s plan when he takes a soul like Leslie. She was always a ray of light, she radiated kindness and love and empathy. She was one of the funniest and most sincere people I’ve ever met. When I was very young and very impressionable she made the time to make sure she made a positive impression on my life and she made one that’s been with me everyday since all those years ago when we first met and I was just a teenager. I looked up to and admired her then and throughout the years and I always will. She was one of the most incredible people I’ve ever been blessed to know and consider a friend and she will be greatly missed. My love, thoughts and prayers go out to Rich and their families that have to find a way to live without her and I know that her presence will always be felt, not just by them but by all of us that were blessed enough to know and love her!

candle 2I first met Lesley at the Junior League. Of course, her laugh and smile were the first things you noticed and to this day, I remember both of these. I remember when and her Rich started dating and you could just tell, he was the one. I got to share in their special day when they got married and the joy and happiness on both their faces was incredible . My heart breaks for Rich. Even though we parted ways after she left the Junior League, we remained in touch through Facebook. Her stories about her and her sister going Christmas shopping, jeep hair and her newest love, Cooper, were so fun with the way she shared them. She was a special person and it is obvious she affected everyone she touched. My prayers go out to the family in dealing with this devastating loss. Cheryl Kotalik

candle 1I am terribly saddened learning the news of Lesley’s passing. I worked with Lesley @ ADP for many years when she was a Project Manager. I called her my Nancy Grace! She would always laugh when I said that. Lesley always had a cute or funny story to tell. She was definitely one of the good ones! We worked virtually together, I wish I could be there at the Celebration of her Life. I am praying for comfort for her Husband and Family while they mourn their loss, but know she is in Heaven and at peace with no more pain. Taken too soon.

candle 6Lesley was one of the sweetest most positive people that I know. She always had a smile and was upbeat. She loved life. It was sad for me when she left ADP, but even sadder that she won’t be a phone call away. To Rich and the rest of her family I offer my deepest sympathy. My heart is heavy but please find comfort in knowing she will not be in pain any more and to be absent with the body is to be present with the Lord. God Bless you and give you strength during this most difficult time.

She was not only a colleague at work, one of my mentors but she was a beautiful friend. My sincere thoughts and prayers will continue to be with Lesley family. Lesley will truly be missed.

candle 3I met Lesley at my first job at Kmart in O’Fallon MO. She was a front-end supervisor and she was somebody I could always go to for help. She was four years older than I was and really seemed to have it together.

What I remember most, though, are her PA announcements, which were usually the closing announcements at night, “Attention Kmart shoppers…” and she was very good at it, better than anyone else I’ve heard since. She had a great voice (one that would’ve worked on radio) and her sarcastic sense of humor came through loud and clear, especially when there were customers who didn’t want to leave at night!

From the many comments on her memorial page, it seems the outstanding qualities I noticed twenty-six years ago remained with her for the rest of her life which, I’m sad to see, has been cut short.

candle 7My condolences to Rich and all the family. I so hope that each and every one of you find solace through the memory of the warmth that Lesley shared with everyone. Lesley and I met and worked together at The Junior League of St. Louis. I share in the fond memories that others have shared about her smile and laugh. I can only hope that she is now at peace, smiling and laughing like a little girl. This is how I choose to remember her and I hope that everyone will find a way to remember Lesley in ways that make you smile away the sorrow. So long my friend… R. I. P.

candle 4Lesley was my manager for only a few years at ADP, but she touched my soul. Although we never met in person I will always consider her a close personal friend. Shortly after she became my manager I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I don’t think I would have made it through the rough days without her support both at work and on a personal level. I will carry many fond memories of her in my heart forever. I am so sorry for your loss.

    Positive

    Leader

    Mentor

Like most people I met Lesley on one of her in office walk arounds.

Shortly after she became my mentor as I was pulled toward her positive attitude.

I learned a lot from her during our relationship which I will keep with me and I am forever grateful

She makes people better around her and I know she will be missed by many including me!

Please keep her husband Rich and family in your hearts this weekend!

candle 4Our heartfelt condolences to Rich and the whole family. May you find peace and support through your family and friends.

I was one of the many people blessed to work with Lesley at ADP, most recently as my manager, mentor and close friend.
Her guidance, support, encouragement and belief in what everyone on our team could accomplish is what stands out most to me today. She wouldn’t hesitate to jump in and help wherever it was needed. And not one day went by that she did not send out a quick “Hello” to check in and provide a positive message to our team.

While my husband and I were in St. Louis celebrating our anniversary last summer Lesley and Rich made time to join us for lunch. It was our first road trip in our Jeep. She shared with us what was or wasn’t acceptable as a Jeep owner. We talked about future trips together. She talked about trips they had taken. All the fun they had on their adventures. She loved her Jeep.. and dreamed of the day to turn it PINK.

Her giggle was contagious. Her spirit was true. Her energy for life will never be forgotten. I’m sadden we will never get our trip to Jeepstock.. though you will be there in heart and mind when we go.

“Jeep Hair Don’t Care”.. don’t ever forget to “Jeep Wave”.

All our love Lesley.. you will never be forgotten Boss Lady!
