Evangeline M. Meyer
August 19, 1924 — July 1, 2016
Evangeline "Sis" Meyer, of St. Charles, MO, died on Friday, July 1, 2016, at the age of 91. Loving Mother of Anita Gray, Loving Grandmother of Jennifer Gray and Kimmy Gray. Treasured step- grandmother of Eric Gray and Chris Gray and their families. She was a devoted aunt, great-aunt, and cousin. Sis will be missed by countless friends, family, and everyone who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Clara Kaveler (nee Schaal), her husband, Herbert Meyer, her brother, Robert Kaveler, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nephews, and cousins.
Evangeline was a lifelong member of St. John United Church of Christ where she was very active on Altar Guild, Emmaus Group, the annual clothing drive, as well as just about every other committee at some time or another.
Evangeline was an avid bowler for 70 years. She enjoyed traveling, listening to the Cardinals on the radio, and going out to eat.
