Arnold, Dorothy M. of O’Fallon, Missouri, died Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at the age of 77.

Dorothy was the cherished daughter of the late Clyde and Dorothy Oliver; devoted mother of Nancy (Randy) Davis, Mary Brown, Christine Moore, Linda (Kraig) Lindsey, Leon (Debbie) Arnold, David Arnold, and Jason (Kelly) Arnold; and loving grandmother to eighteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Dorothy is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. She is preceded in death by her sister, Audrey Andrews, and brother, Charles Oliver.

Dorothy was a very kind and compassionate woman, who spent much of her life caring for others. She worked many jobs over the years, lastly working as a receptionist & switchboard operator at St. Mary’s Institute in O’Fallon for over 20 years, before she retired. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing bingo and going out to eat with her friends. Dorothy will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
