Alcorn, David Charles, of Saint Charles, MO, died on Saturday, July 2, 2016, at the age of 71. Beloved husband of 50 years to Karen Sue Alcorn; cherished son of the late John and Mary Alcorn; devoted father of David (Donna) Alcorn, Josephine (Robert) Donaldson, Dorothy (the late Roger) Huette, Tammy Carl, and Deborah Harper; loving grandfather of Kodi, Gabe, Lex, Drew, Shelby, Amber, Stacy, and Tabitha; treasured great-grandfather of Piper, Kasidi, Hunter, Fisher, Phoenix, Hunter, Braydon, and the late Charlie Rose.
David was very proud of his Native American Cherokee heritage. He loved his CB and Ham Radios and enjoyed having his Ham radio operator license. His call sign was “Peckerwood.” David also played guitar and loved the outdoors, especially hummingbirds and raccoons. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. David was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
