Dana Louise Hacke

Dana Louise Hacke (nee: Lawson), of O’Fallon, MO, died on Thursday, March 3, 2016, at the age of 57. Beloved daughter of the late Jan and Larry Shumake; devoted mother of Shaun Hacke; cherished grandmother of Elijah Hacke, Emily Natale, and Linsey Natale; dear sister of Deborah Tracy and Donna (William) Cook; and dear friend of Jennifer Weinzerl. She is preceded in death by her sister Diane Riley.
Dana worked at Barnes Jewish St. Peters Hospital in the emergency department for 17 years. She loved her work and all of her co-workers. She was at her happiest when she was helping others. She enjoyed life and loved to make people smile. She cherished her grandchildren and spending time with family, and her two furbabies Brandi and Minnie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or COPD Foundation.
