Carolyn Ann Slaybaugh (nee Jones) passed peacefully in Palm Harbor, Florida, May 11, 2016. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri to William (Red) And Edna Jones (nee Carpenter), on February 18, 1932. Preceded in death by her parents and two siblings, Marie Stillwell (nee Smith) and William H Jones, Jr. She leaves behind her husband, Charles Slaybaugh, whom she loved with every breath of her being, an unending romance. She was an amazingly devoted mother, step-mom, and mother-n-law, to Diane Forte (Larry), Deborah King (Roger), Dori Cundiff (Mike), and David Allen (Debbie), Keith Slaybaugh (Barb), Michael Slaybaugh (Molly). She offered her kindness and love to all those who came into her life. She was spunky, surprising, funny, loving and caring. She cherished her grandchildren and great grandchildren with tenderness and generosity. Her friends were her extended family…her sisters and brothers. She loved them, each and every one. Although she will be dearly missed, she will only be as far away from us as our hearts.
