Funeral Service Assistant

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist Funeral Directors with guests during visitations and funeral services
• Assist with parking
• Drive the coach in funeral processions
• Act as a pall bearer
• Deliver flowers
• Participate in the direction and/or delivery of ceremonies and services as needed

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Strong verbal communication skills and good written communication skills
• Ability to respond to common inquiries and problem solve
• Ability to work in a high pace atmosphere with strong multitasking and organizational abilities
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as required for completion of assigned responsibilities
• Must be available 3-4 days per week and available to work up to 8 hours in a shift. 
• Possession of a valid class E driver’s license is required with an insurable driving record
• Able to exert up to 100lbs and stand for extended periods of time
• Must be available every other weekend
